The ability to move and maneuver around adversaries is something that is not normally cultivated.  Whether it be a mental or a physical act, humans are unprepared for a well placed strike.  We should strive to become more aware.  It will reduce losses.  That is all.

Although that is a quote from Who’s Harry Crumb, it’s also a double entendre referring to the whiskey barrel aged bitters from Fee Brothers. They just arrived via UPS and I’m enjoying an old fashioned with them in it. And trust me, believe the hype. On the nose they’re exactly like their regular aromatic bitters, but in a cocktail, they’re nothing alike at all. They’re much more reminscent of Angostura but with a much more even flavor. It doesn’t really punch you like an Angostura old fashioned does, it just lays you down by the fire gently for a good evening. But speaking of fire, the whiskey barrel aged bitters have a wonderful spice that the un-aged do not. If you fancy a good drink, I’d call up Fee Brothers and order youse some…because it’s a limited edition run. But fret not, they’re apparently going to have more available next year if they sell out of this years vintage.
